The beach has been closed for several days, being a basement dweller this has been a challenge during this time of "Social distancing". The beach has been a calming, grounding retreat and being able to spend time today...wonderful. A cool start in the morning, the sun came out and then...WHALES!!!
Was able to catch them on camera, these are taken from video and cropped. To see more than just spouts and to have them so close to the beach was awesome. Previous attempts in December to see some was unfruitful despite traveling an hour down the coast. This was close to home. Totally awesome! Its funny how seeing just a little of these huge creatures makes us, some of us, squeal with delight!
